Quality education may help students get ahead, but it doesn’t set them free. When students experience and live the love of Christ at school, they become truly free.

Sara Corn - Redemptive Education Intern
Boots & Roots Program

Sara Corn joined the Redemptive Education team in Fall 2020 to assist in our Boots & Roots program while she wrapped up her high school education. She brought with her an already impressive amount of experience working with children in a variety of educational settings. Sara, we loved seeing your heart for education that aligns with God's design!

What has been your experience in education/teaching/leading children?

I had the opportunity to nanny in France for a month when I was 15 for three kids, taught Sunday School since fifth grade, worked at a Montessori school with my early childhood education class for the past two years, and I've worked as a camp counselor a few times at a kids art camp.

What do you hope your future education work will involve?

My plans for the future are going to a college in the south. Either Berry College or Covenant College and majoring in Early Childhood Education and minoring in History. Then I plan on teaching in a school and maybe building a school in the far future.

Are you a teacher and interested in being mentored by Amy Imbody or one of our team members?
