Saturday is our retreat at Corhaven! With 12 or so attendees, we are anticipating beautiful time of fellowship and being met by the Lord. Please pray for our guests, that He would provide rest and sweet messages of His love for them.
We are looking to provide new programs to local schools and/or families in the coming months (including chick hatching!)... would you pray that God guides our energy and efforts toward the work He would have us to pursue?
We are hoping to have a book of essays, titled Wind from the Sea, self published in time for the benefit concert on March 16. Pray for all those involved in this quick, intensive effort - for attentiveness to detail and quality, and for wisdom about design (that it would be most helpful to those who will use it), and that God would be glorified by the content.
We are beginning to plan a CRE conference for this coming fall in St. Louis. Please pray the Lord would guide us closely as we work with Covenant Christian School, our host, and discern topics for breakout sessions, activities and logistics. Please pray for Dan Beerens as he prepares to be our keynote speaker.
Our concert is fast approaching in March, and we are in full stride preparing. Pray for those who will prepare, present, and participate in this exciting evening. We are grateful for the venue, Restoration Anglican, and pray that their community will be greatly blessed by this event as well.
Please pray for Amy Imbody, Julie Lebo, and myself, as we look toward returning to India in May. Visas, travel, health, and communications with our hosts are all on our minds right now, as well as preparing for the teacher training we will guide. We are asking the Lord for wisdom, provision and affirmation in this time.
Work with our founding member schools has been VERY blessed! We give thanks! Pray for Covenant Christian in St. Louis as their teachers pursue writing integral units. This is a new skill for many there, and we pray for their perseverance and growth mindset. Teachers at Trace Academy in FL have been implementing their new integral units this year as well, and we continue to lift them up as they learn new ways of guiding their students' thinking and growth!
