The Center for Redemptive Education exists to articulate, cultivate, demonstrate and facilitate the quest to align with God’s design for teaching and learning, using an approach
that is Biblical, Relational, Integral and Experiential.

  • We are offering a retreat for educators at Corhaven, the retreat home of Bill and Tara Haley in the Shenandoah Valley, on February 17. We will be focused on the theme of Rest. Please pray with us for those who will attend - that it will be rest-FULL, rejuvenating, and a time of "filling up."

  • We are working on solidifying our many plans and calendar for 2018 - pray for us to have discernment, clarity, and joy as we look forward.

  • Our Benefit Concert will be on Friday, March 16, 2018, at Restoration Anglican Church in Arlington, VA. Pray for Stephanie Edewaard Weidle, our gifted soloist, and all who are preparing “Wind from the Sea,” an interactive concert inspired by the Andrew Wyeth painting at the National Gallery of Art! Our hope is that this will be an opportunity for attendees to experience RE personally as well as provide income for the Center.

  • We ask that God would provide what we need for the Center financially, and that we would have wisdom about developing sustainable income streams.

  • Amy Imbody and Erica Reiter will be attending the Deeper Learning Conference in Gainesville, FL on January 11-12. Please pray for their interactions there with likeminded educators - for mutual blessing and fruitful relationship building.

  • Our application is with the IRS, and we are eager to hear back from them! We pray for positive response in His timing.

  • We are looking forward to returning to India this May! Pray for the process of visas, flights, medical prep, etc. More importantly, we lift up the hearts of the teachers for whom we will provide training. Pray that they would experience Christ through our time with them and that their students would be blessed through the classroom practices they develop.
