First, we praise the Lord for His blessing and protection of Trace Academy in Orlando, who missed only two days of school during Hurricane Irma, and were able to return to safe, dry, lovely classrooms without delay!
The IRS now has our application! Pray for favor, swift approval, and no obstacles to full 501c3 status!
We completed the K-5th grade curriculum for Trace Academy, one of our Founding Member Schools, and will be working on the 6th-8th this year. Pray for great blessing on the K-5 classrooms who are exploring God’s world with this new curriculum! Pray for excellent, inspiring, fruitful curriculum development for middle school students!
We are producing videos! Lessons, lectures, and a bank of “Quick-Start Tutorials” are in production, as well as videos to share the vision of the Center for Redemptive Education. Pray for Kate Gardner, our amazing videographer and film producer as she captures the essence of Redemptive Education!
Some of these videos will be the university level courses to share with our brothers and sisters in China and in rural southern India! Pray that we can effectively help eager learners become Redemptive Educators all around the world!
Our Benefit Concert, originally scheduled for Sept, now has a firm date of Friday, March 16th 2018 at Restoration Anglican Church in Arlington, VA. Pray for Stephanie Edewaard Weidle, our gifted soloist, and all who are preparing “Wind from the Sea,” an interactive concert inspired by the Andrew Wyeth painting at the National Gallery of Art! The concert will be free of charge and a freewill offering will be taken on behalf of the Center for Redemptive Education.
We are consulting with schools who have joined us in the quest to align with God’s design for teaching and learning! Pray for Trace Academy of Orlando, Covenant Christian School of St. Louis, Truro Preschool and Kindergarten, Providence Baptist Preschool, The Vine, and others – that the Holy Spirit will blow a fresh wind of redemption through the halls, classrooms and gardens of these wonderful schools!
