Can you see the light at the end of the tunnel? We can! The Scent of Water Home School Learning Communities are finishing up their outdoor adventures. Boots & Roots, Terebinth, and Canopy students are wrapping up projects and readying for the summer. Our REACH member schools are questing towards graduations, celebrations, and the satisfaction of a job well done. Redemptive Educators at home and at school are giving thanks for all that the Lord has accomplished in this past year – AND they are already looking ahead to plans for the fall!
The Center for Redemptive Education is offering programs to serve home schooling families in Richmond, Alexandria, Annandale and Lovettsville, Virginia. We partner with parents to provide a robust support in educating their 4-6 year old Boots & Rootsers, their K-8th grade Terebinth students, and even small cohorts of Canopy high schoolers exploring vocational options through study and internships. See the website to register for these programs, OR to share financially so that more families can take advantage of these Christ-centered, innovative outdoor education programs. We have awarded over $30,000 worth of educational assistance to help moms and dads have beautiful alternatives to the public schools. You have likely heard of the battles in both Fairfax and Loudoun counties in Virginia, where parents are courageously standing up for their God-given right to educate their children in accordance with their values. Our educational assistance helps to provide them with healthy, wholesome, faith-filled educational options.
This week I had the joy of hearing Scent of Water students belt out “Far beyond all imagination, far beyond any mind of man, far beyond all we ask or think: God has made a plan! It’s for His glory! It’s for His praise! He writes His story of faithfulness all of our days!”
And it is true: God has blessed us with His faithfulness every day of this past school year. We know He has great plans for our future – and yours! Thank you for being part of the Redemptive Education story!
